24期生 小池侑生 東北大学 (下川ライオンズ-前橋中央-県立前橋)
東北福祉大学に32年ぶりの勝利、無四球完投勝利で勝ち投手。
過去にも明記しましたが、前橋中央っぽい成長過程を経た小池が、後輩たちに大きな夢と勇気を与えてくれました。
前橋中央としてはビッグニュースです。
小池は中学3年時は育成チームの控え投手でした。
キャッチャーで試合に出ることの方が多いくらいでした。
身長も低く、線も細い中学期でした。
お兄ちゃんもそうでしたが高校に入っても身長が伸びていました。
小池も結果が出始めたのは、特に制球が安定してきたのは大学入学後しばらくしてからと書かれていますよね。
身長が止まってから何年くらい経つと、いろいろ動作がリンクしてくるのでしょう?
この辺りのお話を説明してから入部してもらうようにしています。
実はこの身長予測が育成においては重要であるのです。
個人差はありますが、中学・高校と身長が伸び続ける選手は小池くらい先を見て野球をしていくことが大切だと思います。
